We, the undersigned, are calling for accountability regarding ELQANAH BEN YISRAEL, leader of said known address: 2945 Stone Hogan Conn SW, #104, Atlanta GA, 30331
Former members, elders, young people, and others have experienced or witnessed public statements attacking people’s character after they chose to leave or disagree with the congregation. These statements have reportedly included degrading names such as “whores” and “hoes,” accusations of being wicked, and statements that people would die.
We believe everyone has the right to leave a congregation or disagree with its leadership without being publicly humiliated, threatened, or targeted.
We are asking for an end to public harassment, degrading language, intimidation, and statements concerning people’s deaths, and for accountability and respectful treatment of all former and current members.
We are asking for accountability—not retaliation.
This petition is not about preventing anyone from practicing religion, expressing religious beliefs, or exercising free speech. It is about asking for accountability, respectful treatment, and an end to personal attacks, intimidation, humiliation, and threatening or degrading statements directed at former members and others.
I have nothing aginst the teaching I received at HOY ATL it was all thus said YHWH. i do believe it is unfair to tell the members that thay can't continued to be friends with people who have chosen to leave the congregation and i do believe its unfair to say every one who has left is wicked simple because thay had a personal problem with the teacher praise YAH for wisdom and understanding among us.
