Dear Cllr Steven Speak, Cabinet Member for Highways and Streetscene,

We the undersigned request that the Council implement a Community Parking Zone in our street: Teddington Park, TW11.

Other roads, namely, Teddington Park Road, Claremont Road, Cambridge Road, Linden Grove and Arlington Road are all lobbying in the same way to gain signatures in support of what we hope will become an area CPZ.

Yours,

Resident of Teddington Park

Have renamed Teddington Park, now Teddington Car Park. Students attending St.Marys new facilities at 60 and 99 Waldegrave Road are not allowed to use on site parking. RHP has 26 parking spaces with up to 400 people using the offices plus vans. London Square has allocated 1 underground space per house and six of the flats have no parking facilities. The area is overrun on weekdays, when London Square is fully occupied weekends will be the same.

Teddington Park is a residential street not an office car park. Many of the office workers parking in the streets are commuting locally, which is obvious from their displayed resident parking permits!! Should residential streets have to pick up the tab for local offices inability to enforce their planning permission promises of public transport take up by their staff? The volume and competition of cars in the peak periods 8 and 5 is a danger to people and vehicles in the road. My car has been damaged lengthwise several times from traffic passing it.

Lived here for nearly 25 years. Never known parking so bad in Teddington Park and only going to get worse. I'd like to see the council taking into account the feelings of local residents instead of just letting property developers and organisations like Richmond Housing Partnership take over our streets. If we leave the house any time after 7.30/8 am we can be sure not to be able to get a parking space outside our house until 5.30/6.00pm when RHP staff go home.

TEDDINGTON PARK I have lived hear 25 years and im sorry to say it has become a nightmare i can not go toi the shops in the car as i know i will not get a parking space ,I have been subjected to verbal abuse when i have asked the drivers at 8.30 am to stop there music blearing out ,usually while sitting in the car ,Im fed up of people leaving there cars out side from 9to 5 pm sometimes all weekend ,at the moment therte are 4 lorries parked across the road , I ask my self is this a street or just a free car park ?lorry park .I think the council should come hear and see for them self's what it has become ,The people who park hear are inconsiderate toward residents ,They dont care and not interested . as i found out on many occasions ,b hatton teddington park

Please consider how dangerous the road has become with the parking issues. As Teddington Park is so narrow it is almost impossible to reverse out of our drive with cars parked either side of the driveway and on both sides of the road. I have already heard of one accident due the lack of visibility and I'm sure it won't be the last unless the situation is changed.

Three households - our neighbours - are not on the net but would nevertheless like to have their votes registered, namely Mr. Alan Drake No. 18 / Mr. and Mrs. J. Fitzgibbon No. 14 / Mrs. Susan Watts No. 12.
