The following petition is a request for an emergency meeting of the Representative Council of the Tracy Educators Association. The purpose of this emergency meeting is to provide the Representative Council a voice in the current MOU(s) being currently considered by the TEA negotiating team and Exec Board. This petition needs 20% of the membership to require this emergency meeting. Agenda will be violation of TEA bylaws regarding negotiators and Mou's.

The momentum behind this request proves that many of us are searching for the same answers. It has been a long road to get this far but seeing this level of engagement reminds me why we started this in the first place.

We need to know what is happening behind closed doors. This affects all of us and our classrooms.
Enough with the secret meetings. We deserve to have a say in these agreements before they are finalized.
HOLD THE MEETING. Stop pushing things through without the reps.
There should be better communication and transparency in this process. We ALL know that once something becomes real it never leaves.... a precedence will be set. Make good choices for us.
I am concerned about the lack of transparency since the Facebook group got closed down.
No to simultaneous hybrid/DL.
Concurrent teaching to primary aged students isn’t feasible.

The lack of communication is frustrating. Everyone is stressed and we are being left in the dark.
