The government finally approved our funding for the new building today. This victory belongs to everyone who signed and pushed for our students to get the facilities they deserve. Keep an eye on the development plans as we move into the construction phase.

Final supporters
Since its foundation by the presentation sisters in 1902, St Mary’s has been a beacon of learning for thousands of girls in the community of East Cork.
We are so fortunate to have educators who, despite space limitations, continue to educate, innovate and create opportunities for students to reach their potential.
Since 1978, four extensions have been added to the original school building. However, we are now land locked with no potential to extend. We need a new build. A new school will provide our school community with modern facilities which will enrich the St Mary’s experience
As part of our teaching and learning in St Mary’s, we encourage our students to become active citizens. We are now asking the community of East Cork to take action and to support our campaign by signing our petition.

St Mary's High school needs a new build. A new school will provide our school community with modern facilities which will enable the school provide a lot more choice of subjects to the students.
Delighted that my daughter attends St Mary's, however the building is not fit for purpose. A new building is urgently required in my opinion. Also, there are a lack of school places in East Cork, which leads to a lot of stress on new applicants and parents.
As a grateful past pupil, I wish the best for a new school for St.Mary's High School . The Presentation Sisters provided a first class education in limited circumstances and are deserving of high praise for their professionalism and dedication to all students who had the privilege of attending their school.
As a proud past pupil, very pleased to support this cause. In the past, the Presentation Sisters compensated for the lack of State provision. Now it is surely time for the State to step up.
We need a building outside the town as traffic too busy in town up by the gaelscoil in Midleton be great away from the town

Our kids are the future generations and need a quality space to learn Every year there are issues with kids getting a place in the east cork schools. Stop the stress on families and put proper infrastructure in place. Midleton population has trippled in 15 yrs and no new spaces in schools
