Reaching this level of support confirms that many of us feel the same frustration regarding the cancellation of our camp. It is clear that we deserve a transparent resolution or the return of our funds instead of silence. I am now preparing to coordinate our next steps with those who have the authority to address these demands.

We had spent money to prepare stuff for camp, and they are not cheap. My parents paid 30 dollars for shipping my stuff from Shanghai to here just so I can get it in time. Camp is supposed to be a get-away from the school days and the homework. Cancelling it is mean, not to say that the teachers are not giving us our money back.

It is so mean that we don't get full refund even though we are not even going to camp. They did prepare us food, but the weather is unsteady these days, and they should have noticed that. But we really want our camp back, and we are really doomed over it. Please try your best to reschedule the camp, or at least give us full refund. We protest! We protest! We protest...

Since we won't get to 1000 just by students, what do you guys think of asking our parents to sign too? I'm sure many parents are not very pleased with the camp being cancelled too, since it does involve money and their children's education outside of school and bonding.

SRSLY, THIS DOES NOT MAKE SENSE. EVEN THOUGH THERE'S TYPHOON, THEN THEY SHOULD HAVE IT RESCHEDULED, OR FULL REFUND. BUT IT'S ONLY PARTIAL REFUND. I BET EVERYONE'S ATTITUDE WOULD BE RUBBISH FOR THE 3 DAYS. NOT OUR FAULT

Our family had spent tremendous of time and quite some financial investment to support our daughter's camping event. It is SO DISSAPOINTED to hear that the event is cancelled. Not only we have financial lost, what is important is the kids lost a precious opportunity to experience this event. There must be something can be done to make it up, for example switch to another time slot even if it is a weekend.
