The term Fake News actually appears in Wikileaks emails that came from Stratfor going back quite a few years, but we never heard it in reference to anything in the U.S. before Pizzagate.

Long overdue! Child trafficking in all its forms must be addressed. It is world wide and it is horrific. Children are bred to be used sacrificially by satanists. In more "benign" instances they are used (abused) sexually, as child sex slaves. This is abhorrent and must be exposed. This is ample circumstantial evidence that suggests a high level peso ring operates out of Washington D. C. in which a great many of our political leadership participates. Comet Ping Pong is the tip of this gigantic iceberg. The parties made known in the Podesta emails must be investigated

I don't really understand everything behind this pizzagate ordeal but I believe it has not been investigated properly. Given the stakes involved Pizzagate should be openly investigated (and hopefully thouroughly debunked) by the media.
