The people of Seattle support the head tax. Our homeless Citizens need help and we are not blind to their suffering.
The biased reporting that is come out on this makes me so angry to watch it I'm actually yelling at my TV.

You cannot make billions of dollars in a vacuum! Our city has changed because of them and they need to pay their taxes. The Amazon worshipers have Stockholm Syndrome and are being played for FOOLS.

Amazon is not the only gentrifier in Seattle, but they are by far the largest and have taken a nihilistic position in believing they have no ethical obligation to mitigate the displacement they have contributed to. Using the construction workers as a negotiating wedge is not how a true community partner behaves. Trying to hijack the narrative and portraying this tax as anti-business is disingenuous. There has to be a line for any company whose growth inordinately effects the communities that have been here for decades and subjects many to dehumanizing levels of socioeconomic hardship.

This is just Another Money Grab from the City of Seattle! It'll accomplish Absolutely Nothing! Except Unfairly Tax Business within the City! Add on the Downtown Road Tolls and Seattle will become a Barren Waste Land! It's dish terrible tax that its really almost laughable if it wasn't so damn stupid!
