We recently found out about a rule implemented by the Homeowners Association, not by notification by the board, but by harassment by our new "security" company. According to The Meadows Maintenance Association you can no longer park a car on the street outside your home AT ANY TIME! The rule used to be no overnight parking, now it is no parking at all! The "security guards" can come and sticker or ticket your car, or just have it towed without notice! This is absurd and unfair. If we want to change this we must show up at the next meeting enmass, with petition in hand to show that this is not what we want. Join us by signing this petition and showing up at the next meeting to voice our opinion!

The feedback I keep hearing from neighbors about these aggressive towing tactics is heartbreaking. I am spending my evenings gathering documentation to make sure the board cannot ignore us this time. It feels exhausting to fight for the right to park in front of my own house but I am not walking away from this.

Seeing this kind of momentum tells me that I am not the only one exhausted by these new rules. It is a relief to know that so many of you are just as frustrated by the harassment from the board. We are going to walk into that meeting as a unified front.

This is absurd. We should be able to park wherever in front of our houses. Some people own a handful of cars and have no where else to park them.
Almost 20 years here and we come to find a number of rules just changed. Post this petition it will be my mission to undue all of the crap that was pushed on us. Parking in the street now allowed... last night 117 cars in the meadows. All we need is 100 signatures..... the we can do something very powerful.
Unfair! We need a place for our guests to park!
There are times that we must park our vehicles on the street. Please reconsider this new rule for The Meadows.
Total BS!
Personally, this has created more problems than solutions. This is the same situation in San Messina, the community next to the Meadows.
Remember we still live in a free democratic country and I believe the meadows is part of it

Hey all, good news!! We got the attention of Castle Group, who called an emergency HOA meeting to address our issues with security!! Tuesday at 6:30pm (never the most convenient time for most) at Castle Group's office in Plantation. See the sign on your way in at the gate for the address. From what we were told (by someone I won't rat out here), only the 3 board members ever show up to meetings so they sit there and decide what they want to write as rules, and pass them themselves. Let's tell them it's not okay to arbitrarily change the rules without somehow taking a consensus vote of the HOMEOWNERS!! Come tomorrow, and bring your neighbors =)
