Sign our petition to Say No! To yet another housing development of private high priced homes in Morley. The development by Persimmon Homes Ltd is for around 187 new houses, the current tenants who graze horses and other farm animals, many of which are rescued will lose their homes but many of the older animals may have to be destroyed because of this development. Morley is already over populated with no school places available. Other local services such as doctors and dentists are also unable to cope. The development has one main access which is into a already congested street and will force dangerous levels of traffic past a primary school.

Please sign our petition to say no to the development because Morley is already full!

Say No To Persimmon Homes In Morley, This Company is making vast profits and wants to build in our community which is unable to cope with new housing. Our Schools, doctors, dentists and other local services are full and unable to cope with any more housing. A company like persimmons so build new schools, doctors and dentists with their massive profits.

Which schools will the children living in these proposed houses attend? Not just primary but High schhol too? I live on the Newlands and 'as the crow flies' my childrens nearest high school is Cockburn. Luckily, my son did get into the Morley academy but what will happen when my younger children are due to attend high school? Will we be competing for places with the occupants of these proposed new houses. Also a major concern is the extra traffic this would create in an already congested area. what doctors/dentist will they use? I fully understand that there is a real shortage of housing in Morley but there simply is room." you can't fit a pint in a half pint pot" as they say!

local schools, doctors and dentists are stretched with an already over populated town. Wide Lane cannot cope with anymore traffic.

New school just opened as the old one was falling to bits and fully subscribed, so the new school will be oversubscribed only a few years after opening, extra traffic and infrastructure issus will make this a nightmare for existing residents. Why South Leeds again? Why not North Leeds?
