Dear Logitech,
We, the undersigned, are a global community of Linux users who deeply value and appreciate your high-quality peripherals. Logitech has consistently delivered top-tier products that enhance our productivity, creativity, and gaming experiences. However, we feel excluded by the lack of official Linux support for the Logi Options+ software.
Currently, Logi Options+ is available exclusively for Windows and macOS. This software is critical for unlocking the full potential of Logitech devices, offering features such as customizable button mapping, application-specific settings, and advanced control options, and Logi Flow. As Linux users, we are unable to take advantage of these features, leaving us with a diminished experience compared to users of other operating systems.
Linux is no longer a niche platform. It powers millions of devices worldwide, from personal computers to enterprise systems. The community has grown exponentially in recent years, and many of your loyal customers are Linux users who invest in Logitech products, trusting in your reputation for excellence.
We believe in an open, inclusive, and innovative technology ecosystem, values that align with both the spirit of Linux and Logitech's commitment to enhancing user experiences. Offering Linux support for Logi Options+ would not only demonstrate Logitech's dedication to serving all its customers but also solidify your position as a leader in innovation and inclusivity.
We kindly urge you to:
- Develop and release an official Linux version of the Logi Options+ software.
- Provide regular updates and support for the Linux platform, as you currently do for Windows and macOS.
- Engage with the Linux community for feedback and testing to ensure a seamless user experience.
By extending Logi Options+ to Linux, Logitech has the opportunity to make a significant impact on a rapidly growing market while strengthening your relationship with a passionate and tech-savvy audience.
We thank you for considering this request and look forward to your response. Together, let’s ensure that all Logitech users, regardless of their operating system, can fully enjoy the capabilities of your outstanding devices.
Sincerely,
Linux Community

Not least because of Microsoft's increasingly aggressive customer retainment as well as their constant PC-killing updates, I have moved two PCs to Linux and I'm really happy, except that there's no Logitech software. THIS IS LONG OVERDUE !
Please. I'm a software engineer and work exclusively on Linux, professionally and privately. Needless to say that keyboard and mouse are my essential tools to work with and it's a shame that the most popular brand, which I always loved, does not support the system I work on.
I don't care for the Logi Options app, OR the fact that it must be open/running to remap mouse buttons, I think Logitech should take the method most other companies use and store the remapped functions WITHIN mouse memory.
Spending €200 on a headset and not having Linux software is a sham. I'm talking specifically about the Pro X. Without Linux support I will not continue supporting Logitech.
I really want to love Logitech hardware, but I can't install the software at work, so I can't use customizations there, where I need them, and I can't even install the software at home because I run Fedora.
Pleeeeeeeeeease
Please for the love of god

But please, do it in a proper way, not with a crapware that weights 200-500MB ... such settings software should be 10MB. (some time ago it would be 1MB ! )
