The condition you said ita moderate although all the country knows and all over the news its OVER HIGH and what about people that live with their older parents +60 years? should they take the risk of going to campus with hundreds of students just for an exam and may or may not get infected?

- Finals are moved ahead
- Saturdays are taken away, reducing time to study and work on projects.
- You can only choose 1 P/F course, and only before 35-40% of your grade is decided. You probably don’t even know what your current grade is by then.
- All on top of the usual struggles with KU’s adoption of online learning, and the need to spend dedicated time outside classrooms to properly understand the subject.
I really hope the University reconsiders their P/F policy at the very least.

Absolutely unreasonable and badly thought out; especially since other local universities have implemented much more student-friendly policies regarding the matter.

I have no issues with doing exams on-campus, although I prefer it because I faced so many issues with online exams, which affected my grades and performance.

the email lacks empathy towards all students who are working nonstop at home. also, having classes on Saturday is difficult because we barely get through our work during the week and barely have time to spend with ourselves and our family. please reconsider the consequences this could have on the students and not to mention, the professors who barely get time off and have to teach on Saturday. this is insane.

I don't get why the pass/fail request is for only one subject. I doesn’t make any sense. On the contrary we should choose the subject before doing the final exam. And finally having the final in the university during such crisis. Some members of my family have diseases such as diabetes it would be very dangerous if they get infected with covid-19. All cases should be considered specially when its a matter of death !

We can’t go from online quizzes and midterms , to a final on campus. It’s unfair, at least keep the online exams and change it in the begging of next semester,
Best of regards

Unreasonable and unfair!
because what’s the point of only having P/F grade for one course although they are all taken under the same conditions!
