I am nominating Kobie van Rensburg for this years NWU’s Alumni Awards of Excellence (see link below) and would like to ask for your support.

You may know of Kobie's internationally recognized achievements over more than two decades as tenor, teacher and director in the mostly baroque genre (if not, Google him). He has contributed significantly all over the globe and locally, and I believe it is long overdue that he is also recognized in this way by his alma mater.

Hy het homself bewys as internationale sanger, operaregisseur en aanbieder van meesterklasse. Hy dra sy kennis ook oor aan die gemeenskap deur die medestigting van "Umculo". Hy verdien beslis die NWU se toekenning.
I support this nomination whole-heartedly. Kobie will truly be a deserving recipient of this award.

I support the nomination fully. One could also take note of his contribution to the School of Music singing students by means of master classes.
