Please do not build this horrible building in this wonderful neighborhood. It will ruin the slow pace of a town that already has too much traffic around town.

Airport Acres is where I grew up! I love the place. Blacksburg has just gotten too bit and there are other places to build! This quaint and beautiful little neighborhood need to stay the same to keep the character of the neighborhood. And Beeks doesn't need a bunch of doping and boozing students directly next door!

I grew up in this neighborhood. Please keep it family friendly and low-scale. This sort of upzoning is ruining Austin, where I live now, and I'd hate to see it do the same to established neighborhoods in Blacksburg.

I want this land to stay R4. I went to school at Beeks and will always consider Blacksburg my home. I hope to some day come back with my family and don't want to see this zoning changed.

No high rise needed next to Beeks on Airport road. Most senior citizens don’t want stairs or elevators unless they need supervised care.

The elementary school is the focus and pride there, and should not be put in the shadow of large new development

The planned community development change to PR is out of character for the surrounding neighborhood which is as presently R4. This will have negative impact and cause permanent damage to our beloved neighborhood!!!!

Please keep Airport Acres the way it is. Thanks.

A hotel right behind the school is enough-if we wanted to live in and send our kids to school in high density, mixed zoning neighborhoods, we'd live in NOVA. Blacksburg has to stop encroachment into neighborhoods. Period.

This strikes me as a plan to serve the interests of the elite though couched in the language of "community benefit" ... it would merely contribute to the widening gap between the haves and have-nots.

Against change of R4 zoning.

This zoning change is not appropriate for the neighborhood at all.

501 Porter https://www.enterprisecommunity.org/download?fid=6623&nid=3496 Please draw your attention to page 81- stairs. I found it interesting that There plans had zero elevation entry, but vertical designs. Too much space for seniors to manage AND affordable housing is a term mentioned repeatedly on Aging In Place recommendations, including tax relief. However, nothing mentions an increase in density. The investors sunk costs and “efforts” to appease the community are not relevant. Granted, they are working hard at getting what they want while appearing to concede.

I am vigorously opposed to changing the current zoning status of R4 for these properties; if housing is to be built on these properties, it should be done within R4 parameters, and in keeping with present, adjacent neighborhoods.

Airport Acres is one of the last affordable family neighborhoods in Blacksburg. Please don't fundamentally change the neighborhood by allowing the change in zoning from R4 to PR
