This is horrific! There needs to be stronger laws against animal abuse! Why couldn’t someone help sooner?! I see that locals reached out to help this poor pittie and no one responded. This could have been prevented had people done their jobs! Police need to be more involved in animal cruelty cases.

The laws need to change. Champ should have been taken away from that scumbag. She needs prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Please for the sake of Champ and all neglected animals everywhere, please convict and fine this person that starved this sweet soul and also the person that abandoned Champ in the first place. Pass stronger fines and jail time for these offenders.

We have to fight for animals who are neglected. Strict laws to hold those accountable. Just makes me sick that so many animals are left to die and no accountability for people.

Animal cruelty is the ugly part of a deprived, evil human who deserves the greatest punishment the law allows

exposure of these crimes and these monsters is the best we can do until our animal protection laws change...let them live in fear of public wrath!
