Sabrina Ionescu has made outstanding contributions on and off the court to Miramonte High School, the Acalanes Union High School District, and to the local and global community. We believe Sabrina Ionescu meets and exceeds the AUHSD criteria to have the Miramonte gymnasium renamed in her honor. If this application is approved by the AUHSD Governing Board, Miramonte would be one of a few schools in the state to have an athletic facility named after a woman. Go Mats!

One hundred people have signed on to demand the respect Sabrina Ionescu deserves from this board. The Acalanes Union High School District is officially on notice that we will not accept their continued refusal to honor her legacy.

Grew up in the district and never saw anyone like her. She changed the culture of the program for sure.
She put Miramonte on the map. This is a no brainer. Name it after her already.
GO MATS!!! She is such an inspiration to all the young girls playing ball in this district. so well deserved.
Still remember watching her play there. Unreal talent. It would be an honor to see her name on that gym.

Its about time we recognize some of the amazing women from this school. Sabrina is the perfect choice
