I am in full agreeance with this objection.
Our town infrastructure is critically lacking NOW without adding possibly well over 650 more people to cater for water, NBN, telephone [look at phone outages over holiday periods now{ medical, ambulance etc.. Tocumwal facilities will not be able to cope with such a population increase…..

I am in favour of some development but not this many dwellings in such a small area. I too worry about water, internet, phone and other services being able to keep up. I would not like to see the beautiful vibe of the town destroyed by over development.

They can’t fix our water pressure now. What’s it going to be like when 324 houses are built

We strongly object to this proposed project. Due lack of infrastructure.

There is no guarantee that such a large complex will be completed in a reasonable time, that such a large number of people of a certain age group will be attracted to Tocumwal at the house prices suggested, and the development will become a “white elephant”. Such a large older aged group will put a strain on health facilities and services, especially My Aged Care.

Our water pressure only 100 metres from there is the worst of any house, flat, caravan or motel I’ve ever been in or visited and now they want 324 plus people or more driving in and out at peak times in to Hutsons Road

The town has no water pressure and storm water drains that can’t cope now let alone another 300 plus housing development, the town will lose its rural feel

Our water tower and sewerage systems cannot already cope with the influx of people the water used to be so nice to drink now it is just chlorine tainted , the drains over flow with heavy falls of rain and we flood in certain areas of town. Berrigan shire needs to update and make the old water plant bigger and sewerage and drainage better before they go and try to get rich quick on over developing Tocumwal !

BTY if Berrigan Shire Council is so in favour of this development. Why not relocate it the township of Berrigan.

As a retired golf nut and member of Toc Golf Club and native of Tocumwal, I am against this development. Infrastructure can't cope the town's charm and amenity will be change in a detrimental way for ever. IMHO.

I am a resident in Tocumwal and I am concerned that we don’t have the infrastructures to support the influx of people from this development. I strongly object to the proposed development

Ridiculous development for the little town of Tocumwal. Improve the existing infrastructure first before any thing else.
