Have they lost their mind. They are just turning a blind eye as they know all the problems this will cause. It’s all about the money for them!!

Wing development, no ratepayer consultation water pressure problems already no internet in holiday season, drainage is questionable and roads in and around toc are a nightmare.

The council pushing this project through you can see from a mile away , council must listen to there not dictate to rate payers and members of the community. This Berrigan council in my opinion is totally out of order giving this project the green light .

Lived in Tocumwal all my life, family has been here for four generations, I notice more and more every year how the town is slowly losing the charm and character that make it Tocumwal this development will only further that.

Too close to our historic WW2 Aerodrome, there will be many noise complaints from the residents of this development threatening the aerial activities we enjoy at the Aerodrome. We need the Aerodrome open for the RFD SERVICE PLANES

They can't even get a ambulance station in town or a doctor to go to the hospital, let alone that there is no internet during peak times due to the amount of people in town, how in gods name is this going to work without getting these things fixed FIRST

I live in Marian Drive. I call it Marian Highway, due to large amounts of traffic using the street. Imagine when this new development is built. They will use Marian Drive as a cut through to Cobram. Not what I expected when I retired and moved to the Country. What gives the Shire the right to approve this? The whole idea is a slap in the face to the residents of Tocumwal. Any respect I had for Shire has gone now. They are bullies.

Many upgrades and improvements desperately needs to be carried out by BSC before putting more pressure on our out dated infrastructure.

The town dose not have enough infrastructure for something like this.
The storm water backs up in this area after a heavy rain and adding more pressure on the storm water system could cause constant flooding to homes in this area.

I believe this project should not go ahead Tocumwal has a unique character to the town it’s peaceful and quiet these dwellings are not needed it will create more crime to the town

This is a proposal for a densely-populated suburb, unique to the town and seriously inappropriate to the surrounding area. Unsurprisingly, the two Tocumwal councillors have voted against it.
In addition to the likely serious impact on Tocumwal's water, sewerage and electricity infrastructure, the project is allegedly related to golfing but there is no enforceable guarantee that it will remain so.
Tocumwal does not need a high-density slum.

Inappropriate development - too many small houses on tiny land allotment with very limited parking, not enough open green space.

The infrastructure needs to be significantly improved for this to proceed

Examples of this business model failing are present in Cobram and Yarrawonga currently. It won’t work in toc.
