New Hope for Youth

It would be very disappointing if this program closes down , new hope program helped my daughter get back into the right track

The New Hope counselor at Santa Teresa High School helped my daughter during a difficult bullying situation. Their doors were always open to my daughter as well as several other students in their time of need. The fact that New Hope was on campus and dedicated to helping my daughter, I feel grateful for their services and hope that they can continue to serve our community.

I’ve worked personally with staff from this organization. I work for a non profit organization myself. These people truly care and are passionate about their work. It would be a shame to lose a resource like this as there have been multiple clients that we took on together which lead to outstanding results.

I really hope New Hope For Youth doesn’t shut down because they helped me during one of the hardest times in my life. When I was homeless and got locked out of my parents apartment it felt like everything was falling apart. New Hope was there for me when I honestly felt alone. They helped me with clothes, gave me a fresh pair of shoes, fed me, and made me feel safe when I didn’t really know what was gonna happen next. They also helped a lot at school. Whenever they were around, they always made me feel comfortable and welcomed. They never judged me or made me feel less than anybody else. They talked to me, taught me things, supported me, and made school feel less stressful and lonely. They made it easier to open up and be around other people. But it wasn’t just about the food or clothes. They brought people together. They helped me meet new friends and gave me a place where I actually felt cared about. A lot of kids don’t have support like that. People might not realize how much organizations like this matter until they’re gone. New Hope helped me when I was struggling and gave me support when I needed it most. I know they’ve helped a lot more people than just me too. Please don’t let New Hope For Youth disappear. There are kids out there that still need them the same way I did.

I was part of New Hope for Youth, and honestly, it helped me a lot during a difficult time in my life. The people there really cared and gave me support and guidance when I needed it. This program means so much to a lot of youth and families, and this petition really shows why it’s important to keep these services available for the community.

I am an educator at Andrew P. Hill High School and New Hope has been very helpful when it comes to reaching and giving me support with students who may need additional support. It really takes a village to raise and help these kids and New Hope does a good job in connecting with them and giving them support. It would be damaging to the schools to lose a program like them.

i’m signing this petition on the behalf of New Hope just the name of this organization is So powerful New hope has been A Place of Refuge for out Community In providing Jobs to families Bringing restoration keeping them housed and food on the table to really bring hope and giving back Phil and his Wife have given their time that could have bees. given into their own family but they have chose to Give to New hope in reaching The at risk youth So many kids have reaped the benefits of this Family New Hope Lives transformed Fathers mothers Reunited with their children Mentorship that no one else could have reached i Pray that New Hope will be able to continue doing the work Keeping The contracts and Funding They need !!! New Hope for Youth is a AMAZING organization for Families and especially the youth in our communities. They are amazing people who go above and beyond to help others! I am so grateful to call them FAMILY!! They were there for us in our time of grief and crisis. Please don’t take away from their programs when they are out there fighting for our Youth Future’s!!

First of all I want to thank New Hope Fo Yputh and all the work they have done in our communities. New Hope has a lot of loving and caring adults that guide us during challenging moments and also took us out of our comfort zone to places otherwise we would never see for obvious economic reasons. New Hope sent us an real Angel 5 years ago around the beginningof the pandemic, Mr. Hugo Miranda. He started working with my older siblings, sister and brother, He quickly started bringing boxes of food from the nearby pantries, he got us clothes, cleaning supplies, food and more food, We are a family of 2 adults and 8 kids, every time he and his partners at the moment stop by their vans will be full with food boxes and many other things for the families they served, NHFY has been a small army of loving and caring adults making big changes in peoples lifes every day. I know that the way Mr. Hugo took care of us he took care of other families and the people that work with him I'm sure did the same with their own families. Our family has gone thru so many things even before NHFY other organizations and the city workers even social workers but we always felt judged, Hugo came listen to us all, my mom, my dad and all the siblings he made us feel important he made us feel seen In our life there is a before and an after NHFY and all the angels that work there specially Mr. Hugo. We moved several times and we always found someone from New Hope, Miss Patricia, Miss Nancy, Miss Tash and many others who are always welcoming, supportive, good listeners and great at giving on point advice. Mr. Hugo Miranda if you read this know that you are loved and every single piece of advice and everything that you do for all of us from the oldest to my little brother is cherished by every single one of us sometimes we wish you were real family. We as a family would love for every other families out there in need to experience the embrace from New Hope For Youth and it's hard working angels.

New Hope is a wonderful program, they have helped my Son when he was with their program, they have supported him also when he had court. I would like to keep this program.
