New Hope for Youth

I am signing this petition because New Hope For youth has been such a positive program for my son. Helping him stay out of trouble and taking him to trips to keep him busy. This is an awesome program for our troubled youth and it will be a shame for our kids future if this program is discontinued. Please keep it going it has helped my family so much🙏

Please consider salvaging this program and securing funding new hope for youth is an important community resource that provide community based advocacy services for young persons at risk of gang involvement and criminal justice system they provide beneficial preventive services

NHFY has made an obvious impact on many lives throughout their communities. I myself as a 23-24 year old employee at the time in 2021-2022 come from the same background as many of the youth being mentored. What NHFY has done for me is beyond words. NHFY truly is a foot work organization, literally putting in the footwork to better communities. I am blessed to have been apart of that. In addition, it has helped me mature as a man & be the change, be the difference in my community that I want to see.

New Hope helped put my little brother alit getting him back on track from school to home visits and taking him to look for other options of school when his shut down and always giving him advice and making sure he makes better decisions and focus on his future

This program has been amazing for many of our high risk students

i just wanna say new hope has helped me get to where i am today. Nancy from new hope did a lot for me with getting me into school and checking up on me to make sure im doing well. new hope has helped a lot of youth i have heard a lot of stories about them and some youth i have seen actually doing better wether its in school or in general.

New hope has helped my grandson in many ways and it would be very important not to lose funding as the employees are the only ears the kids trust .

Thanks to new hope i completed my community service hours and it helped me finish my dej program with a good record , besides that their team was also there for me to support me through my trials and tribulations they’re an amazing team and would hate to see the future for those who would benefit from their help not be able to.

This program is very beneficial to the younger generation, it helps to lead them in a better direction than most of us older generation went through. I wish this program was around in the early 90s when I was growing up.

New Hope was a key reason we were able to minimize fights and helped with mediations to prevent fights on our campus.

I worked at New Hope for Youth right after COVID, and I personally witnessed the incredible work they do serving our inner-city community. I have seen firsthand the impact that individualized service plans make when working with students in our high schools. New Hope for Youth doesn’t just work with students they connect with families, walk alongside them, and provide real support during difficult times. I will never forget seeing the relief on a family’s face, knowing someone was there to help and stand with them. I grew up in a tough neighborhood and made many bad decisions along the way. Looking back, I often think about how different my life could have been if services like New Hope for Youth had been available to me. Having mentors, guidance, and support at a young age may have helped me make different choices and avoid many hardships. That is why this work matters so much. New Hope for Youth is not just a program it is hope, guidance, and opportunity for young people and families who need it most.
