The school administration has officially revised the dress code policy to allow for the clothing items we fought to include. Thank you for your commitment to this cause throughout the process. We will remain observant to ensure these changes are implemented fairly across the student body.

Change the dress code. Stop being Sexist. Let us be Comfortable. Let us be ourselves.

We as students of the HASD believe that we should be able to wear what makes us comfortable, we are all being trapped in a box where we are being told that what we wear that makes "us" unique is wrong. Put a end to this. Help us earn the right to wear clothing like jeans with tears or holes, jeggings, yoga pants, and much more. Help us be ourselves!!

It's really dumb how the teachers can wear inappropriate clothing but then the students can't. Like ARE OUR SHOULDERS REALLY THAT DISTRACTING??? what is distracting about shoulders. Not just for women but men too, like what is distracting about wearing a tank top, its horribly hot in the summer and its unfair. and what about hats? whats wrong with hats?

We still want rules on our dress code, there still needs to be guidelines. We are not doing this to eliminate the dress code completely, just the parts that we feel are not correct

The focus should be on teaching not if a persons clothes are to tight, baggy, ripped etc. Last I checked we live in the USA. Should there be some restrictions of course, I don't like seeing kids butts or boobs. If teachers and administrators have issues they should contact today's designers that think everyone is one size. Hopefully this issue will change

I would feel 200 times better if I wasn't so insecure when I walked into the building I love and learn in! #changethedresscode

I don't think its fair that apparently we can't wear ripped jeans and have straps showing because its apparently "showing too much" yet guys repeatedly sag their pants and even with a warning they don't stop but if girls wear something wrong we get sent to the office.
