As a large number of people past and present are aware what my impact has been at TrentClimax Saturdays at the Student Union for 3+ years now.
I am currently NOT DJing on Saturday nights at Trent Climax due to unjustified decisions in relation to a separate midweek promoter event, after years of endless work to build, bring and deliver a successful RnB room and connect with people on a much larger scale....I believe this is the wrong decision, as do many others.
The aim of this petition is to show your support in reversing this decision and allow me to continue my job to bring the biggest vibes every week. This is for the attention of TrentUni, NTSU, and all associated parties.
From current students or past students who have seen, witnessed, and been apart of a weekly Saturday night room.... my constant work to promote, push and successfully deliver this is why I feel its important for YOU (the people/students) to speak on it...
The vibe and quality of the room has always ensured we have the best Saturday in the city, to those that know what I bring to the table & delivered, unrivalled energy each & every week... let them know!

I really thought this might just disappear into the void but seeing it pick up this much actual steam is wild and makes me think maybe they really cannot ignore the energy we had in that room every weekend. It honestly feels like the whole place is backing the move to get the music back where it belongs because we all know those Saturday nights just do not hit the same right now.

The SU will be losing out on a lot of money and promotions due to this unfair dismissal of Firestarr, the events that took place were out of his control and nothing to do with his DJ-ing. Many students will refrain from coming on Saturday nights due his departure.
Good DJ shouldn't off been removed I really enjoyed my NTU Freshers week and without DJ fire star the experience would off been bad.
Always made our Saturday nights at SU with his music! Never once went downstairs in our 3years there! Bring him back!
Saturday nights at the SU are literally nothing without him. Such a bad move by the uni honestly!!!
Firestarter is the best dj! He made my uni experience!! Trent would not be the same without him! Love u firestarter❤️

Incredible DJ and one of the only in Notts that played music relevant to the culture! Going to a DJ Firestarr set on a Saturday night was a major part of my student experience at Nottingham and I would be so disappointed for other students in Nottingham not to get that experience for such an unjust reason! I hope DJ Firestarr is able to continue bringing good vibes to the Trent SU!
