We, the people of Charlestown and its surrounding areas, are requesting the Minister of State at the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport with Special Responsibility for Tourism and Sport to assist in providing funding to upgrade the Charlestown Swimming Pool, make the area more secure and provide a sustainable heat source for heating the pool and shower facilities.The Charlestown Swimming Pool is an important sporting, social and safe facility for the youth in our area but our numbers would be higher if the water was heated and the facility upgraded. We provide employment to 5 local lifeguards and support the local CE scheme. We want to continue to provide this facility in our community so please help. Thank you.
