On April 1 of 2020, scratch came out with the cat blocks. the cat blocks were coding blocks, just with cat ears and faces that you could pet with your mouse. The cat blocks stayed for a few day, but then dramatically disappeared due to someone complaining on the forum that "they were a distraction". After becoming such a craze and a popular statement, the death of cat blocks was a shock to the scratch community. After the shock came sadness, causing many scratchers to throw funerals for the cat blocks and even quit over the death.

Then came anger.

People sending in emails, asking to bring them back. Throwing raids to scratch set-ups and starting rebellions. this destroyed the easy layer of peace covering this platform, and now it is anger. we demand that the Scratch Team brings back the cat blocks, whether in a peaceful way or not.
