Ok guys, let me get straight to the point. First of all what was RobotRage? Robot Rage was an Online Multiplayer Game. The game has no story nor quests, but has robots shaped like cars that you can construct yourself. The main purpose of the game was battle, you fight, win credits, then upgrade your 'robot'. Such a simple objective, that anyone could play, it was a extremely fun game, and was the most rated game on miniclip for a few years. The game was very popular, was it played inside your browser What happened. Firstly hackers came, they came and ruined the game, hacking in-game items, which cost money, so miniclip started losing money from the game and not making any money anymore. There was also advances in technology, the game was made in Adobe Shockwave, which was quickly being overtaken by Flash, so less and less people installed shockwave. Miniclip did try and counter the hacks, and they did manage to patch 'most' of them, but 1 user had downloaded the old client files, so then people used it to start hacking again. Anyone reason was that Miniclip installed a stupid P2P system, so you could only play against certain users, and this made finding a match more difficult. They also removed ingame chat due to apparently people abusing each other... even though they had a filter. But the main thing was that Miniclip last updated the game in 2008, before closing it in 2012. So 4 years and no update. Gradually the game decreased in popularity alot until there was less than 10 people in the lobby, whereas before there were thousands I want it back! Yes quite alot of people want. The game was such an amazing game, and it was due to bad management, that its gone. I just want RobotRage back, I dont mind if its written in Shockwave,Flash or HTML5. I just want the game back, and the developers actually updating it, instead of leaving it to die Sign the petition! If you want the game back, then PLEASE sign the petition, if we can get 50,000 people to sign it, then I can show miniclip, that the game had loads of players who enjoyed it like me. SO PLEASE SIGN!
