On February 12, 2019, James MacDonald, our beloved Biblically-qualified Senior Pastor, was unjustly terminated from his rightful position in the church that he and he alone founded!
NO ONE has endured more trials than Pastor James (and Kathy). For YEARS, he has been intolerably oppressed by the Internet for everything from his shrewd wealth-building to his much-needed vacations from what is a very stresful & budensome calling from the Lord. Pastor James is truly a VICTIM on an island of spiritual warfare. Attack bloggers, rogue journalists, grandstanding radio show hosts, and vicious social media posts have all treated him very unfairly!!!!
In the history of humankind, almost no one has led more people to Christ than Pastor James! He deserves every cent (and more!) of the millions of dollars that he has earned from his dedicated service to his Vertical Church brand! Walk in the Word, Vertical Films, Vertical Worship, Evangelicalism…none of these things would exist were it not for James MacDonald!
It's time to seize the opportunity to help Pastor James get healthy and return to Harvest Bible Chapel!

I am truly overwhelmed by the outpouring of loyalty toward Pastor James. This momentum proves that his influence remains strong despite the unfair treatment he has faced. This movement belongs entirely to all of you who refuse to stay silent.

James is one of the most hospitable leaders in Evangelicalism. He invited me to the table when others wouldn’t. I’ve never been good at math and neither is he. I’m thankful that minor theological differences don’t come between us.
James is like a father to me. I stayed at his house a couple times while I was in town. I thought it was just the guest house at first but he and Kathy actually live there! Humble and modest but a famous Pastor deserves better!
What kind of Mickey Mouse outfit would fire Pastor James. Are you Goofy? It would be magical to see James return.

I met James immediately before he taught at a large men’s bible study in Texas. I told him a sob story and to my surprise he conducted a impromptu offering for my benefit. They way he guilted those guys into giving was a sight to behold. I cleared a cool 2k so I didn’t even mind when James cut himself in for 25%

James got railroaded by a bunch of in grates that can never understand the pressure of being a pastor.
