Save the Bank Street, Sevenoaks road closure

Bank Street should remain pedestrian only, to help local businesses, for the pleasure of local residents (it's just 3 mins walk from my home) and visitors, and for environmental reasons too. We don't want or need cars driving through here.

Keep it pedestrianised it’s so much better and more welcoming

Keep the road closed for pavement seating please. There is a huge lack of this in Sevenoaks compared to Tonbridge and TWells.,it’s good for the businesses and makes the town attractive.

It seems like common sense to continue to allow the closure of Bank Street as it has proved to be very successful and indeed helpful to all the businesses in that area to try and recover from the Pandemic.

The road closure enhances the area tremendously and would be a shame if it was reopened. Trade has benefited considerably and so has the atmosphere of Sevenoaks!

Please fund the work

It’s a great addition to Sevenoaks, please let it stay!

Anything to separate people and cars is welcome particularly when airalerts for Sevenoaks occur regularly.

A small price compared to the huge benefit for local traders and residents!

Please save the outdoor seating in Bank Street - it is great for local economy and local tourism.

This seating area in Bank Street is an absolute bonus to the town. In the past Bank Street has been used as a rat run and a danger to pedestrians walking in and out of the shops. Please let’s think more about the pedestrians than cars!!

This closure is certainly warranted on safety and amenity grounds.

Let’s take advantage of this lovely spot in our town and use it when the weather allows.
