The narrow cut through road is safer without cars using it as it is in regular use by shoppers/pedestrians and recently street cafes creating an attractive relaxing scene.

Reopening bank st? What’s the point just make it more difficult for the businesses there. If it’s working why change.

Road closure has added a real sense of community & enhanced living in Sevenoaks. It has encouraged an outside cafe/ bar culture for all to enjoy.

This is a great idea, which I support as a Sevenoaks Town Councillor and resident. This will help support our local businesses.

So much nicer as pedestrian only, having tables and chairs outside the pubs and cafés. Love Bank Street!

This is the nicest part of Sevenoaks, being pedestrian and safe to walk. My 7 year old daughter is in a wheelchair and we appreciate sitting outside the cafes and enjoying the lovely atmosphere.

The road closure has been great in enabling this part of town to develop as a great community hub and it would be a shame to lose this.

There doesn't even need to be a way through for cars here and £6000 essentially for a sign to say 'no vehicles' is absolutely ridiculous. That area of the town has been thriving since the temporary permission was granted. Surely this is what you want within a town!
