This has been very successful for the shops and pleasant and safe for people to walk and eat alfresco. It never was suitable for vehicles.

So much better to be able to walk around these little roads safely without traffic. Like Sevenoaks very own ‘Brighton Lanes’. Let the cars and vans have the main roads. Even better if you can eat outside on a nice warm day.

As a sevenoaks resident we need the businesses to survive and thrive. Having this road as a car cut through doesn’t make any sense and should be in my opinion closed to traffic. There is no benefit to having the road open but many benefits to pedestrians safety and business that does.

Small businesses are struggling, I fear if this isn’t done then it’ll be a nail in the coffin for many, excellent small independents. 6k is absolutely nothing for a community like Sevenoaks, surely??

Even though I live abroad now. My heart still breaks when I hear that local governments cannot improve conditions for their local people. Or don't want to. It's always a problem. From time to time the governments should think more for the health and welfare of their locals. My support for you all.
