Mr. Burke made my senior year better than I could have imagined in school and outside of school. He actively supported me in my scholarly work and supported me in my personal life and frequently visited my work to just stop in and say Hi. Although I do not know the reasons of his leave, I believe he should remain as the principal of Oak Ridge Hogh School for this coming year and many years to come.

Mr. Burke has made my school experience at Oak Ridge High School better than I ever expected. If I ever need to talk to someone or need help around campus, Mr. Burke has always been someone I could count on.

Paul Burke is a great, well-rounded principal that any high school would kill to have. Putting him on administrative leave is a huge mistake; not just for his wife and kids, but for the students who care about him so much as well.

Mr.B has positively impacted my life and the lives of many other students and faculty members at Oak Ridge. So much has improved from school events to school buildings brought by the recent renovations. I have never had a principal so genuinely caring and involved in the lives of so many students while also promoting a safe learning environment. I have never seen Mr.Burke walk around school without smiling and offering words of encouragement to students. Ocasionally he would come into the band room just to listen to our music and let us know how much he appreciated Mr.Varoff the the students in the music program. No other school official could bring as many words of encouragement and improvements to Oak Ridge in such a short amount of time as he did. I hope whatever happened does not prevent Mr.Burke from being at Oak Ridge and bringing positivity in me and others.

Mr. B is a great, kind, friendly guy and I would hate to see him leave, hate to see his legacy he has started end so early and to end for some terrible reason that's probably false.

I find the whole situation disappointing... Principal Burke is a great principal. He is very involved, very approachable, the kids love and respect him... That says a lot. He is making a difference.

We support Mr. Burke and what he has done for our school. In the 3 years he has been at Oak Ridge he has made huge and positive changes to further better Oak Ridge and make it one of the best learning institutions in California. We know for sure it was a complaint someone had about him. He didnt do anything wrong. If you choose to not sign this petition then please keep your comment to yourself because the 720+ people that have signed it are in full support of Mr. Burke and what he has done for our school and who he is as a person.

If Burke goes students loose!!! Mr. Burke holds teachers accountable and keeps a high standard of excellence. I'm a parent of 2 orhs students and have been very happy with Mr. Burke leadership. Any school board that would vote him out does NOT have my vote.
