I can't thank Mr. Burke enough for my last two years at oak ridge. He supported me and everyone else in the community, whether it was sports or academics. He strived to make Oak ride great, which every authority figure at oak ridge should do. Keep Paul Burke at oak ridge! #backburke #burkestays

We fully support Mr. Paul Burke as principal of Oak Ridge High School. We have known him for 2 1/2 years and feel he exemplifies leadership, enthusiasm, integrity, respect and pride for his students, the school and the community.

Incredible leader. Positive, proactive, loves the students. Great human!!

We live in a small community. Rarely do you come across a school administrator that everyone raves about....Parents & students LOVE him! He is VERY involved with Oak Ridge, handles the tough issues with integrity and his family is a very active part of our community! It is a shame that our school districts don't ask for parent input regarding administrators/teachers as we finish up every year..we are customers of the school and I believe it would be a valuable PART of their performance reviews!!!

For those of you still questioning, the allegations involve his character and approach to running the school. There is NOTHING of criminal nature to this investigation! Pioneers of industry are often met with adversity because change is not easy and anything new creates unknowns. Paul has a progressive way of running Oak Ridge. In the last 2 years he has transformed the school into a 21 Century learning institute with cutting edge courses and curriculum, state of the art athletic programs and equipment as well as student led philanthropic programs that will benefit our kids for years and years.

Bring back our principal!

Mr. Burl has always been super sweet and even comes in every once in a while to our cheer practices and says hello :)

I ditto everyone else's comments here from parents, students and friends. My daughter has been an OR student for 2 years now, the school is a happy, positive learning environment.That doesn't just "happen' it is a direct result of who leads. Although my encounters with Mr Burke have been brief, he took the time to listen, respond and follow up within the hour. This principal has passion for giving our kids the most enriching learning experience in these crucial high school years, preparing them to bridge over to their next journey in life. The focus on tolerance and accepting all students is truly uplifting and inspiring.This comes from Mr Burke. I am hoping he is back at Oakridge soon doing what he does best, being a strong and positive force for our kids, who are the next generation. Thank you for starting this petition. Sue Reed

Mr. Burke is a truly remarkable leader and human being, and he was always an amazing principal during my years at Oak Ridge.

I am a Freshman here at Oak Ridge but I have seen Mr. Burke at our rallies and around campus greeting students and having friendly conversations with them. Although the reasons for Burke's a sense are uknown, I know that he is a good man.

Mr. Burke is the best principal/role model that I've ever come across. He's changed my life and the life of others for the better. Don't know what happened but I do know that Mr. Burke is an amazing man.
