firing/removing a principal from his position for the school excelling in both acendemics and athletics is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. it may not be the reason he's on lease, but Burke is by far the best principal. Every where he goes, is spirit and attitude lights up the room. I've never had a "moment" that I can share about Mr. Burke except for Burke Ball, but he's an awesome principal and shouldn't be fired. If he is fired, I'm even more happy to be graduating in less than 6 months so that I don't have to deal with the principal next year. But I can assure you, there isn't any other principal I want at graduation, than Mr. Burke, and I can speak for my class as well

Mr Burke is a great inspiration, principal and friend in the sane person and he showed me that a principal is not just a random person because he had a connection to everyone on the campus independent if it was staff, student, graduated student, teacher, parents or visitors. He just gives everyone the feeling to be respected and like in the way every individual of us is their self!

I don't know what the allegations are against Paul Burke, but I DO know him and I believe I am a good judge of character. He is friendly, kind, has integrity, is positive, motivated, looks you in the eye and really means it when he asks how you are. It would be an incredible shame to lose him as the principal of Oak Ridge High School. As a 1989 graduate of Oak Ridge, and with four children heading to Oak Ridge, I want to see Paul Burke as their principal. I support Paul Burke 100%. Reinstate him. Now!

I have two children attending Oak Ridge, and one that graduated two years ago. Paul Burke has been extremely supportive and a constant source of inspiration to my kids. They all three agree that Mr. Burke is one of the few administrators they have been exposed to that actually "rubs elbows" with his students. He is admired, respected, and well-liked by all who have the pleasure to know him. My family and I hope he will be reinstated to his position as principal very soon. Oak Ridge would be extremely sorry to lose him.

I worked with Mr. Burke during his time in Elk Grove Unified. He is the epitome of the quote "live your life in such a way that when slanderous words are said against you, no one would believe them". He is a champion for students and his community.

Mr. Burke hired me as a new administrator. He is very professional, focused, and cares deeply for students and staff. He is a great person through and through. His energy is infectious and Oak Ridge High School is lucky to have him. The finger is obviously pointing in the wrong direction.

Principal Burke has been kind and helpful to our family, and students and parents seem to generally view him positively. If there is an allegation, it should be made public. The school board is a representative of the people, not the secret police.
