I have a daughter who is a Junior at ORHS. I have been watching his interactions with the kids for the last 3 years and it is amazing. Watching the students walk up to him to talk at sporting events. The yelling across campus "Hi Me. Burke" with big smiles. This is the kind of Principal we need at this school. One who expects tenured teachers to teach and work just as much as those who have not earned their tenure yet. This is what makes ORHS a fantastic learning institution. I will be writing a letter of support to the Board!!!

As a parent of two students one who had recently graduated, and one who is in her senior year. Our dealings and respect for Paul comes with the highest regard. It is difficult, not knowing the circumstances, however, I would hope he would be reinstated based on his positive influence on the students at Oak Ridge and the positive interaction he has had with the parents.

My son graduated 2 years ago. Mr Burke is an amazing principal and the kids love him. I was on the grad night committee for 4 years and he was amazing and encouraging. He is very receptive and makes himself present on the campus during lunches and before and after school. It would be a complete mistake and a tragedy to not have Paul Burke as principal of ORHS
