Please help us gain support from Lee County to create a safe access point into Treeline Elementary school from Botanica Lakes for the student walkers. The children currently have two options when walking to the school; 1. Cut through hedges, walk along a dangerous, ant ridden path along a fence and loop around on Treeline Ave. or 2. Exit the neighborhood and walk along Treeline Ave. where the cars are traveling atleast 40mph and there is no school zone or crossing guard. Both options are extremely dangerous.

Making a safe walking path is a win/win situation. It helps families who live close by have easy access and it reduces vehicles in the school vicinity.
I am concerned for my children's safety. There needs to be a path, a crossing guard, and a school zone speed limit at drop off and pick up times.
Let's be proactive in getting a safer solution for these kids instead of waiting until there is a tragedy.
My granddaughters are 2 of the children that have to cut through the bushes and hope they don't get bitten by ants while going to and from school. This issue needs to be addressed as soon as possible. Thank you.
My daughter walks and bikes to Treeline elementary. I would love to not have to worry if she makes it to and from school safely. Besides it being unsafe to have to come close to Treeline Dr. ,The hill they must walk over becomes very muddy and slippery I've seen many children fall on it.

My grandson also goes to Treeline Elementary School and it's a great school but I do see these young children cutting through the bushes and they do need a better and safer walk way to BL.
