As a local rate payer I think that these jumps are great for the local kids (and some of us big kids). Half the fun is building and maintaining these jumps. The jumps do not impact on walkers or horse riders in any way. Let kids be kids instead of trying to wrap them up in cotton wool all the time.

These local ride spots are vital to keeping kids active and involved in the sport, it is not realistic to expect everyone to go and just ride the official bike park areas.

Great thing for young people to get involved in. Much better than hanging around shops etc on their bikes and causing a nuisance!!

I have no issue with the building and use of bicycle tracks on the Tangara trail.. As a nearby resident I enjoy seeing the young guys having fun and using the shared area to its full potential.

Simply, if you want people to stop building and digging our own tracks then you need to supply the community with more trails/tracks and riding areas. There for the community will no longer need to dig and build there own enjoyment.
