Kiddies of all ages outside riding bikes, working together, problem solving, being resourceful, building jumps, creating fun, fitness and exercise in their lives....... and to be shared with anyone, any time.... surely that is ok.

Our family moved to Acton Park ten years ago because we wanted to bring our kids up in a safe environment where kids could be kids eg. playing in the bush, exploring, getting dirty, climbing trees, riding bikes and MAKING JUMPS just like a lot of us used to when we were young and I might say without causing anyone any harm.
The jumps have been there the ten years that we have lived here, and are/were located in an area that was off the main Tangara trail so there was no interference with people/horses utilising the trail.
You have to ask yourself would you rather see kids outside doing things like this or sitting in front of computers/TVs.
In conclusion I am disgusted with the people from Clarence council who made the decision to flatten the jumps (especially without any consultation/reasoning) and would like to see the council reinstate the jumps sooner than later.

The worlds gone mad!!!! They tell our kids that sitting on iPads for hours on end is bad so when a group of good kids get together and go bush to build some jumps, they get dozed down!!!! Each weekend our kids would go off on their bikes to seek some good old fashioned play - building jumps, them testing the jumps out! Is this such a bad thing????? NO!!!!!!! The walking/horse-riding tracks were not blocked so why did you doze them down Council? We pay good money in our rates to the council and what do they give in return??? A wheelie bin, nature strips cut once a year and nothing else!!!!!

Work WITH the community (including the kids) Council instead of against them - you are encouraging children in Clatence to hate their council & disrespect their members due to your clinical management of recent plans and decisions!

Yeah, if you're going to remove something with an evident user base ( I guess due to a deficiency in the location??), please do so with the offer of an alternative that IS suitable!

I love the jumps. I don't use them myself but am so happy kids are using their initiative and making their own entertainment. They should be encouraged

Make this happen. You will go and build some poor pathetic concrete boxes and yet demolish someone elses hard work

As a local rate payer I think that these jumps are great for the local kids (and some of us big kids). Half the fun is building and maintaining these jumps. The jumps do not impact on walkers or horse riders in any way. Let kids be kids instead of trying to wrap them up in cotton wool all the time.
Glad to help
