97-98 Lex Park Neighbors: Preserve Peace & Quiet In Our Residential Neighborhood / Oppose Expansion of Earl’s Beer & Cheese

We are your neighbors who live on or around the block of 97th and 98th Streets, between Park and Lexington Avenues, in Community Board 11, in Manhattan.
We oppose the expansion of "Earl’s Beer and Cheese" into the backyard at 1259 Park Ave.
We do not want the current level of music and noise, from the one or two dozen customers who hang out in and in front of Earl's Beer and Cheese magnified 2, 3-or-more fold, both on the sidewalk and in our backyards, with the increased smell of beer, fried food & cigarettes mixing with late-night drunken chatter, all penetrating into our bedroom & living room windows all hours of the day & night.
We urge our Representatives & Community Board 11 to act now to DENY THE PERMIT FOR THE EXPANSION OF EARL’S BEER & CHEESE into the backyard at 1259 Park Ave., between 97th & 98th St., NY, NY 10029

We already cant hear ourselves think at night with the current noise level. This neighborhood is for families not for a loud bar to take over the whole block. Leave us alone.
