We, the undersigned , are concerned about the dangerous traffic situation on West 95th Street between Columbus Avenue and Amsterdam Avenue, which results from passenger cars, trucks, and taxis either neglecting or ignoring  that they are entering a one way street and traveling East Bound on West 95th Street the wrong way.

Every day, several vehicles careen down this quiet, residential block where there are three schools, a Synagogue, and hundreds of children residents.

We don't want to wait for tragedy to strike. Many of us have been begging the city to re-visit their policies on a left turn arrow at Amsterdam Avenue, which would clearly rectify the situation.

We demand that the Department of Transportation address the situation immediately.
