We, the undersigned, feel strongly that the 3-way stop signs implemented on Raynham Avenue are unnecessary and create more problems than they solve. We feel that the two intersections affected have become more unsafe since their implementation due to the increase in traffic conflicts and a decrease in situational awareness and what used to be a safe and seamless commute along this avenue now requires one to stop and determine who has the right-of-way twice for two intersections with very low levels of congestion. We feel that this road does not have enough congestion requiring 3-way stops to alleviate and that the new signage was implemented in haste without justification. We have witnessed an increase in near-collisions at these intersections that would not have been an issue prior to their implementation. We strongly urge the Town of Gander to remove these stop signs and return to a normal, safer operation.

The Town of Gander is still ignoring our warnings about the dangerous near-collisions on Raynham Avenue. I am sick of their bureaucratic silence while our neighborhood streets become more hazardous every single day.

The Town of Gander ignored us for long enough but this surge of support proves they cannot pretend we are invisible anymore. People are fed up with these dangerous, useless stops and the momentum is finally shifting in our direction.

I avoid Raynam when at all possible. I know there are others that do it too because of the increased traffic on Airport. If the purpose of these 2 stop signs was to slow down traffic, maybe a couple of speed bumps would have done the job.
I almost had a collision yesterday when someone turned left off of corriganwithout the right of way while I was going west on raynham
Living between the two signs. There are times I can't get out of the driveway because the signs have a tendency to stack up the cars. Never had a problem before.
These unwarranted STOP signs cause an increase in gas consumption, noise, and vehicle wear and tear. They are not an effective way to control speed. A STOP sign is meant to assign right of way, not control speed!
Stopsigns are unnecessary. Everyone still treats it as a traditional 2-way through, with one exit. 3 way stops with everyone unsure of what the other person is doing makes things tense, apprehensive, and prone to accident. Putting speed warnings or bumps would decrease any on Raynham speeding.
It would be better if they lowered the speed between the two east entrances from 100 to 60 Km's. I can't figure out why this hasn't happened already
Who, in the name of God thought this was a good idea. Not once but twice. Must have been the same genius that thought that putting a dump on Mc Curdy Drive was a brain storm. Only in Gander.

I travel this route daily, and I have witnessed more close calls with accidents in the past months with these new signs in both locations than previously before the 3-way stop signs were erected.
