I lived in a unit this size at one point in my single life and it was very adequate. I even had a king-sized waterbed! if I had I had a partner at the time it still would have worked. I support this.

I'm 34 years old and I live in Golden Hill,2 blocks from Downtown with my Wife. We share 1 car and walk to the grocery store, bike to the gym, and uber to nightlife/retail. 320 West Cedar is the future housing type of our city in the urban environment. It serves the people who serve the community by providing market rate workforce housing and affordable housing units. The lower rent cost for efficient micro units along side no expense for a car due to the walkability and proximity to light rail doubles down on real affordability. Thank you for fighting for real affordability in a sea of homogeneous 2 BR luxury apartments.

With this project the developers are proposing a smarter way of commuting within our living environment. The idea of pushing away from owning a car appeals to those of us who embrace intelligent means of moving within our community through public transportation, shared riding, and utilizing more efficient means like bicycles and even walking to our work and leisure destinations. This project is one of many stepping stones towards a modern society who embraces well planned urban spaces.
