The Board of Commissioners has officially adopted the resolution to protect our constitutional rights. This outcome is a testament to the quiet persistence of everyone who signed. We will continue to observe the local process to ensure these protections remain firmly in place.
We, the undersigned citizens of Henderson County, N.C. request that the Board of Commissioners of Henderson County adopt a resolution declaring our county as a sanctuary from any attempt to alter the second amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America.
Reaching one thousand signatures serves as a quiet reminder of how deeply our neighbors care about these constitutional protections. This milestone confirms that our community values the principles we are advocating for together.

“Free people should have arms and ammunition to maintain independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government.”
Please declare Henderson County a sanctuary from attempts to alter the second amendment of the Constitution.

As a U.S. Citizen, under the 2nd Amendment, I refuse to give up my right to bear arms. I venomously oppose "RED FLAG" laws also! TOO easy to abuse!!

You can arm me, send me overseas, and tell me to risk my life protecting people I don't know.
But when I come home, you want to disarm me and tell me I cannot protect my family...Dont think so.
There is not enough jail space in this country to house all the patriots that will not bend to the will of the Liberal mob.

Proud to support this petition! I do not personally have a firearm, yet I’ve gone one class & would like to go through more and this further the process with assistance. I’m a survivor of multiple forms of trauma and 2A personally means a lot to me.

We were residents of Henderson County for over 50 years. Both my husband & I were born there. Our familes go back over a century there. We now live in SC but, we still have close ties to our home county. Henderson County needs to protect the
2nd Amendment Rights of everyone. No alterations to our constitution, especially in regards to the 2nd amendment.

I believe we all have the right to defend ourselves against the criminal element. Based on just how our local courts deal with repeat criminals, (nothing against our over-extended sheriff's dept) I need to protect myself and my property until the law shows up. Please DO NOT take away my right to protect myself and loved ones!!!
