Case # 22-ZONEPA-0130: Rezoning from R-4 to R-5 to allow 40 apartments at 1408-1412 N. English Station Road, Louisville, KY 40223. The undersigned oppose the proposed application for rezoning and hereby petition the Planning Commission to hold a public hearing at 6:00 PM or later at First Baptist Church of Anchorage, 11500 LaGrange Rd, Louisville, KY 40223.
I am honestly stunned to see 250 names on this list. This momentum belongs entirely to the neighbors who took the time to speak up for a fair process.

I am honestly overwhelmed by the progress we have made together on this request. If you could take a moment to pass this link along to a few neighbors, it would help us reach that next milestone and show the commission how many of us need a fair time to participate.

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many of you have stepped up to help with this. If everyone who sees this message could send the link to just a few neighbors tonight we might finally break through to that hundred mark.

The proposed apartment complex would have a ruinous impact on an historically significant community with a proud cultural heritage. A community that should be protected and supported rather than exploited because of increasing development in the area.

Deeply Opposed to LDG continuing to ‘suggest’ what Berrytown needs. This developer has a bias skewed by profit. As a resident of Berrytown, I selected my living location based on the current housing density and the canopy. This development will exacerbate a heat island effect.

I am opposed to multi-family housing in this area. It is already too congested and we need to protect the existing single family residences and area

It is insane the amount of multiunit dwellings being built in the section of town without any changes in infrastructure and roads. English station is a nightmare. Shelbyville Road is a nightmare. Please do not allow any more cars/traffic to occur because of the greed of developers.

We want more affordable single-family housing in Berrytown, not townhouses. There is already too much traffic on English Station Road. LDG seems to have a monopoly on multi-family developments in Jefferson County.

Our roads are currently overwhelmed with traffic. More apartment means more cars. This is unsustainable.

There is too much congestion in this area. Far too many apartments have been added already. No more!
