Seeing this much traction is overwhelming because I know exactly how much this extra fee hurts our tight budgets. Knowing I am not the only one feeling lost in this bureaucratic transfer process gives me a lot of hope for a real change.

I am hearing from so many of you who are struggling with this unexpected financial burden after the school transfer. Behind the scenes I am gathering all your comments to present to the administration so they see the human cost of this policy.

This exam fee needs to be waived. If we already had the software for testing, the teach out students could have continued with the software registered with our CNR credentials.
This fee was supposed to be a one time fee which was charged in Spring 2019. I believe Mercy College was aware that we paid this and now we are being charged this fee again for our Nursing Certification Exam.
It is absurd that despite students providing receipts of already having paid a nursing exam fee, that Mercy College ignore our concerns and not remove the charge from our accounts!
It is extremely unfair that we would have to pay for an exam software we already have access too because we already payed for it! In addition it seems our concerns are ignored and no one is willing to negotiate. This is showing our student body, former CNR students that there was never any true concern for us. To mercy college we are not seen as students, we are seen as dollar signs!
I do not see any justification for this exam fee when we already paid over $1,000 in exam fees in our first semester. We already have the exam software and purchased any additional ones we needed. With that being said there is no valid reason for this additional charge. To make the matters worse, no one was notified about the additional charges which in itself seems sneaky and distasteful!
I will keep it short...we shouldn't have to pay a ONE TIME FEE TWICE! get it together already Mercy!!
It would be most appreciated if this money be refunded , which could helped with tuition
