This is my cousin on my grandmothers side of the family. I remember the phone call like it was yesterday. John is missed deeply by all of his family and friends. Thank you for everyone who signs this petition and helps keep Grey behind bars where he belongs

This event has changed my family since the day it happened. John is truly missed! Not a day goes by that I don't think of him! I pray that Gray is kept behind bars where he belongs! He showed no mercy for my uncle, he should be shown no mercy. No cop killer should be let free. OHC

John was my husband's partner.and not only did he take John's life, he took the friendship our family had with him. We considered John a family member. He never got to marry, have children, take care of his parents in old age. Gray took a life on purpose. Not an accident, intentionally. Why would anyone think he should ever be release? Why does it even come up at all?

I strongly believe that Robert M. Gray should remain behind bars for the rest of his life, and should never be allowed to breathe the air outside of a prison ever again. He murder Deputy Janey, a man that was simply doing his job. Deputy Janey was executed, for no reason other than this man did not want to be arrested, when he was caught leaving a home that was believed to be set on fire. This man has shown total, and a complete disregard for a human life, and should never be allowed to be set free in anyway at all.

there should be no mercy for cop killers. and can't believe that the court system will give mercy to a cop killer. John Janie took the oath to protect and serve and now there's no one to protect him

Imy husband and brother are Police Officer's. I DO NOT want to see this cold blooded muderer on the streets ever again. Yes I wish we were like Texas, he would be where he belongs, six feet under and burning in the Lake of Fire. God bless, Mr. Janey's faimily and friends, i would never wish to walk in your shoes! May God wak with you through these trying times. It's sad you have to constantly relive this awful nightmare each time he comes up for parole. Our Police Family sends all our Love, Hugs, and prayers!

Police officer or no, cold-blooded murderers such as this "man" should never be allowed to see the light of day again, let alone walk the streets. For the saftey and welfare of other innocent people, keep him incarcerated.
