We need to get these incumbents out of here!!! No Political office or Appointed official should have a lifetime position! That kind of politics only encourages GREED, CORRUPTION, & SELF SERVING LOBBYIST...

The city council as a whole should stand up for the whole community not just the district they serve in doing so it would enable them to see and act on the short comings of there counter part thus protecting the community they serve I feel 4 years would suffice because it will take the first year to become accustomed to the task at hand
I agree that individuals should occupy their seats no longer than 2 yrs. This is my reason for signing the petition.
But I see what your saying ... I think there might be 3 out there not taking lobbyist kickbacks and such ;)
I WOULD PREFER 4 OR MAYBE 6 YEAR LIMITS TO GIVE THEM TIME TO GET SOMETHING ACCOMPLISHED WHILE IN OFFICE
We need to change it, the same political party are keeping the same policy for the rich to keep them richer and poor remaining the same.

We really need term limits. They are getting in these positions and getting comfortable. They forget they work on behalf of all the people not just the rich.
