We really need term limits. They are getting in these positions and getting comfortable. They forget they work on behalf of all the people not just the rich.

The city council as a whole should stand up for the whole community not just the district they serve in doing so it would enable them to see and act on the short comings of there counter part thus protecting the community they serve I feel 4 years would suffice because it will take the first year to become accustomed to the task at hand

I totally agree! Local officials are not Supreme Court Justices! They should not have life time terms. We have to reform these oppressive systems which have been in place to oppress and suppress our citizens for decades! Enough is enough!

I agree that individuals should occupy their seats no longer than 2 yrs. This is my reason for signing the petition.

Thanks for signing but still same difference for instance if we had that in place right now how many would still be in office ? So might as well keep it at 2 lol

We need to change it, the same political party are keeping the same policy for the rich to keep them richer and poor remaining the same.
