The Highland Council finally backed down and 1st Steps is staying open. We forced them to listen and they had no choice but to protect our kids. Keep your eyes on these bureaucrats because we are not backing down if they try this again.
Highland Council want to stop funding for 1st steps nursery. My son attends there and is very happy and settled there. I do not want to be taking him out of somewhere he feels safe away from me and into a completely new environment. Many parents are in the same boat as me and are concerned what is going to happen. Please show your support on this page so i can print out before the meeting with the council on Thursday pm. The more people we get behind us the better chance we have of staying open for our kids and other kids who will be coming to the age of attending nursery.
Thank You
The Highland Council continues to ignore the chaos they are creating for our families while they shuffle papers in their offices. I am preparing to confront them directly and show them exactly how many people refuse to let them shut down our children's home. Keep the pressure on because these bureaucrats thrive on our silence.
