Petition for those who support the request for an extra 16” in height variance to the forward of façade front facing fence on the 1564 Wolff Property. As the property was redeveloped before purchase with a sliding glass door, front patio area and 5’6” screening fence it is a unique case compared to all other similar homes without these features. This home is also surrounded by two and a half or more story buildings with direct line of sight into the home which this above height fence helps provide screening for. The section of Wolff Street is also unique in the fact it has a Retail Marijuana store and Veterans of Foreign Wars building within the block which adds for above ordinary neighborhood street and foot traffic around this property.

The city planning office refuses to acknowledge the obvious safety and privacy needs of this property. This surge in support proves that our neighbors recognize how ridiculous these bureaucratic hurdles are when the street itself is surrounded by commercial traffic. We are forcing them to pay attention.

Privacy and safety for your family should be more important than 16” Best of Luck!!
Fence and house look nice. I support approval for this over-height fence for many reasons, including aesthetics, privacy and safety.
The fence isn't even around the whole property, just the part with windows right into their home. Tearing down their fence would be a textbook invasion of privacy.
Because of the zoning changes in the Sloan's Lake neighborhood, it is difficult to have any privacy.
We have a three(3) story building next to us and I wish so much we had a fence to block line of sight into our bedroom!
