I think the changes look amazing and when I’m due to get a new roof I may opt to go black on gutters as well with my white home.

As a Realtor covering the entire Richmond area, I see black gutters in other neighborhoods. Your gutters are are very tastefully done. They look very classy. I hope our HOA and ARC adopt updated decorative design standards for our homes.

I think it looks great! And, I'm a bit sad that I don't have the decorating savvy to even think of black gutters. It's awesome how that simple change really makes the house pop, and looks so much more updated.

I like the look, it enhances the home and looks really sharp. Our neighborhood was designed in the 90's - if we don't update these kinds of small updates/embellishments occasionally we're going to look really old, really fast, and so will not retain our property values. We'll be shooting ourselves in the foot. We'll be that old, outdated neighborhood that no one with any sense of style wants to live in because they're not allowed to make the smallest changes to fix it up. Maybe there's a compromise to be had - maybe the ARC should have just a smidgen less control? Just spit-balling here.
