The station is officially returning to the airwaves. My drive to work will finally feel like home again because they listened to us. Keep your radios tuned to 107.7 and enjoy the music.
Buffalonians...this is your time to speak out and let PBS know how much 107.7 the lake was liked and how much that we want it back on air. For those of you that don't know, the lake went off the air last week and was replaced with talk radio. The lake was a great radio station that did not just play the mainstream hits but dug deeper into albums and also played ever song right to the end as the artist intended it to be heard. They also played the fewest commercials of any local radio station. Finally, they brought a good amount of local musicians into the studio. As the lake always said it was a different kind of radio station and it was just that. There was truly nothing else like it around.
Please support me in bringing 107.7 the lake back to buffalo radio. If you want it back just as much as I do, make sure to sign the petition below and show your support for the lake.
I have been hearing from so many of you who miss hearing those deep album cuts and local tracks during your commute. I am currently gathering all these stories to present to the station management so they understand exactly what the community lost when they made the switch.

Seeing this kind of movement confirms that so many of you miss the deep cuts and the local spirit that made The Lake our home. The silence on the airwaves has been heavy but your energy shows we are not willing to let that music fade away.

Buffalo doesn’t need another “Alt” station. The original 107.7 had a great variety of different music which is very rare to find on the radio. Please bring the old Lake back!

Please bring back The Lake. These other radio stations play the same songs over and over day after day.

Now that WBEN has failed - it's time to bring the Lake back. I listen to it every day on my computer at work in Rochester. I have turned all my co-workers on to it. They are sick of the morning shows and repetitious music. The Lake is not just for Buffalo. We love it in Genesee, Orleans, Livingston & Monroe Counties !!

I used to listen to the lake every morning on my way to work. Now the radio stays off because there is absolutely nothing worth listening to in this city anymore.

BRING IT BACK. SO tired of the same 5 songs on every other station. The Lake was the only thing that kept me sane during my commute.

It was the only station I could actually stand. Way too many commercials everywhere else now.

Previously, one of the best radio stations out there. Now it just plain sucks.
