We demand that Pinellas County, Florida State Attorney, Bernie McCabe, immediate release Fred Reio from the Pinellas County Jail. Fred Reio is an African man who was arrested on February 7, 2012 and charged with probation violations and tranfering videos based on what the St. Petersburg, Florida police department saw on a youtube video. This is not only a violation of Fred's right to free speech, it is also a part of an escalating police aggression in the Black Community of St. Petersburg, Florida by the Street Crimes Unit and the Career Offender Tracking and Apprehension Unit.
